Situation: During an interview with Philips, the subject of my 3D knowledge came up.
It had been a while, so I challenged myself to create one of their ultrasound analyzers, using only one available photo from their website as a reference.

Solution: Having used Blender occasionally over the years, my skills had grown, but were dormant. This was a great exercise to reconnect and get up to speed on its new features. Using reference photos for common ultrasound images, I mapped those onto the screen and used booleans to subtract from the polygonal mesh to create more sophisticated forms.
